Proposition 47

If you have ever been arrested, convicted or have served a sentence for certain non-serious, non-violent felonies, you may be entitled to have your case automatically reduced to a misdemeanor and be resentenced. You will not be required to appear in court, but you will have to file a petition to request resentencing.

Felonies now eligible for resentencing in California:

  • Commercial Burglary

  • Forgery

  • Fraud

  • Grand Theft

  • Possession of Controlled Substance

  • Receiving Stolen Property

Take advantage of the benefits of Prop 47 and get assistance in preparing a petition to the court.

Attend a workshop and learn how to file the Prop 47 petition with the court. Call to reserve a space in an upcoming workshop.

Or call to schedule a private consultation and file the paperwork with the court.

There is a 3 year deadline to file.
